HSI extends its drop to 800+ pts and is now at 24,955

[ET Net News Agency, 9 March 2026] The Hang Seng Index extended its fell to more than
800 points, or 802 points to 24,955. The Hang Seng Index now fell 802 points, or 3.1% to
24,955; with market turnover of 49.61b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now fell 214
points, or 2.5% to 8,413; the Hang Seng TECH Index now fell 166 points, or 3.4% to 4,781.
HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) now fell HK$6.9, or 5.1% to HK$128.3, with turnover of HK$3.51b;
BABA-W (09988) fell HK$5.1, or 3.9% to HK$125.6, with turnover of HK$2.82b; AIA (01299)
fell HK$4.7, or 5.5% to HK$80.9, with turnover of HK$936.02m. (ed)
