The Hang Seng Index now rose 499 points, or 1.9% to 26,275; with market turnover of 22.89b; the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index now rose 171 points, or 2% to 8,853; the Hang Seng TECH Index now rose 147 points, or 3% to 5,018.
BABA-W (09988) now rose HK$4.8, or 3.8% to HK$130.8, with turnover of HK$890.15m; HSBC HOLDINGS (00005) rose HK$3.7, or 2.6% to HK$143.9, with turnover of HK$258.61m; AIA (01299) rose HK$2.15, or 2.5% to HK$87.2, with turnover of HK$471.34m. (ed)
