There were 874 short-selling stocks. CSOP HS TECH (03033) and XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$6.3 billion and HK$5.82 billion, or 9.04% and 8.35% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 33.83% and 33.64% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and TRACKER FUND (02800) registered HK$4.42 billion and HK$3.72 billion of short sales, accounting for 6.34% and 5.34% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 21.13% and 18.32% of respective stock's turnover.
