There were 872 short-selling stocks. XL2CSOPHYNIX (07709) and TENCENT (00700) saw higher value of short sales, accounting for HK$4.2 billion and HK$2.96 billion, or 8.46% and 5.95% of the total short sales value respectively. The transactions represented 41.3% and 15.76% of respective stock's turnover.
BABA-W (09988) and SMIC (00981) registered HK$2.33 billion and HK$2.08 billion of short sales, accounting for 4.69% and 4.18% of the total short sales values respectively. The transactions represented 20.21% and 14.68% of respective stock's turnover.
